AS THE WINTER TURNS TO FALL

Original Screenplay and Film by Megan Arnold

A story about pain and pleasure that strays away from the typical, heteronormative storylines and structures we are used to.

Megan Arnold, director, editor, and writer, wanted to create a story showing an accurate depiction of modern relationships and the ups and down they include. She wanted to show a relationship that, while beautiful and loving at times, can also be incredibly difficult to witness and partake in. Nostalgia is a powerful drug, and at the end of these kind of relationships, we tend to put our focus on the beauty of them, rather than the darkness.
Claire and Nina experience passion and love, while withstanding pain and trauma that we as humans tend to inflict on others accidentally. This is not a love story, but rather a story about love, pain, and everything in between.
